Major Areas of Research

• Fish Nutrition, Feed Technology, nutritional biotechnology–Feed analysis, formulation, preparation and evaluation for fish and shell fish, immune response for bio molecules.
• Fish and shellfish breeding and genetics including sex reversal of cultivable and ornamental fishes and indigenous fishes.
• Fish and shell fish health management (including disease diagnosis & management).
• Farm production system research include increasing production of fish and freshwater prawn, larval production of prawn, carps, ornamental fish, evaluation of stunted fingerlings for growth and disease resistance, growth enhancement through hormones.
