Livestock Research & Information Center (Amruthmahal), Konehally, Tiptur

Livestock Research and Information Centre (Amrithmahal) is located at Konehalli Village of Tiptur Taluk, Tumkur District of Karnataka on Bangalore-Honnavar state Highway about 15 kms away from Tiptur town. It came into existence in the year 1985 as Zonal Agricultural Research Station and functioned under University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. Since 2005, it is functioning under Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University Bidar. The station has an area of 1342 acres with forests and wild life and is a rich spot of Bio diversity.
