Others Achievements |
- Dr. Vinuthan M.K. Joined Veterinary College, Shimoga in July 2012 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry. A graduate of Veterinary College, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, (2000), Master of Veterinary Science in Animal Physiology from the UAS, Bangalore(2003), Doctor of Philosophy from University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia (2010) and Research Associate at MRDG Department, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (2004-2006) and (2011).
- Vinuthan held an EIPRS/IPA scholarship, which is funded by the Australian Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) and The University of Sydney, for the duration of his PhD programme. Specifically, he pursued research developing tissue specific assays (cell culture), and developed animal models to demonstrate bioactive roles of milk derived proteins.
- Vinuthan has presented his work at national and international conferences and was selected for a scholarship to present at an international conference on Milk Genomics and Human Health, in Davis California, USA. He is excited about the prospect of supervising research students and developing their skills as well as scientific knowledge in the area of proteomics and molecular techniques. Published several scientific papers, abstracts in National and International Journals.
