Dairy Microbiology
The department offer 7 courses related to fundamentals of microbiology about milk and milk products, their microbiological quality and their analysis, quality system. The department also offers courses related to food and industrial important products, their quality, importance in human diet and the health issues. It extends its practicals to analysis of water, air and other environmental issues related to dairy industry. The department is well equipped to analyze various products realated to dairy and food industry with respect to the student’s experimental purpose. The students can also analyse products prepared by themselves during their experimental periods and can evaluate the quality of those products.
