Dairy Business Management

Department of Diary Business is one among five departments of Dairy Science College, it consists of Computer Department and Extension also. We have well established computer laboratory. As of now it has three teaching staff (Assistant professor (c)), and two supporting staff. Students learn about concepts of marketing, financial management, cost accounting, production management, entrepreneurship and its applicability in dairy industry. In line with objective of college of extension i.e taking developments happening in dairy industry to the farmers for their up - liftment they learn about fundamentals of dairy extension. Computer courses are used for basics of computers as well as new technologies which are using in dairy industry such as automation, MIS, artificial intelligence systems and robots and development of computer systems. Students learn about basics of animal rearing as part of dairy course. Students also learn about environmental studies, economics, statistics and applied mathematics which helps them to take up further studies and to make analysis, apply these principles in dairy industry.
